There have recently been a few incidents of people walking around the University looking into rooms and acting in a suspicious manner.

These have been dealt with, searched and removed from the University by myself and security.

Please be aware as they will have only been on here looking for items to steal. Keep your valuables safe and make sure you lock your offices when they are unattended.

Library

I have done patrols recently around the Library and it is quite frightening just how many laptops, bags and mobile phones I could have helped myself to.

On one occasion I stayed in the general vicinity of a laptop, bag and coat that was left unattended for 30 minutes!

Look after your items or else they may get stolen.”
