The Beat Surgeries will start in the next academic year in the main reception at Frenchay every Thursday between 1 pm and 2 pm during term time.

As many of you will be moving into private rented accommodation for the next academic year there are a few things that you need to be aware of to avoid being a victim of crime.

www.bristolneighbours.com - This website gives you a guide to all community issues including crime and safety.

If you are moving to Cotham, Montpelier, Redland, Bishopston or Ashley Down then you will be in an area that is particularly vulnerable to burglary. Please use common sense and lock your doors etc.

I'm sure most of you will be aware of the following website as I have given out a lot of leaflets about it -

Please take a few minutes to register your property on here for free. If it is then lost or stolen then it gives the Police a better chance of getting it back to you.
If you are going to cycle to University next year then be aware that bike theft is one of the biggest problems on here. Please lock your bike in an appropriate location with a decent lock. I sell quality bike locks at a reduced price, if anyone wants one then please contact me.
