Mail TimetableFrenchay CampusMorning deliveries/collections commence at 08.30 and are completed by 10.00. Afternoon delivery/collection commencing at 15.30 and are completed at 16.30. 99% of all internal mail received will be delivered or collected within 1 working day. Post to the New Village Pavillions and 26 Carrol Court will be delivered between 09.30 and 11.00. External mail must be delivered to the Mail Room by 16.30 daily if to be collected by Royal Mail on that day. Other CampusesDrivers from the Frenchay Campus leave at 10.00 to deliver/collect at, Bower Ashton, Glenside and St Matthias Campuses in that order. They return to Frenchay by mid-day. The PM delivery/collection leaves Frenchay at 14.00 delivering as AM and returning at 15.30. All mail is delivered to the Porters Lodge for onward distribution. 99% of all internal mail received will be delivered or collected within 1 working day. External mail must be delivered to the Frenchay Campus Mail Room by 16.00 daily if to be collected by Royal Mail that day. Internal Mail/Parcels & PackagesAll internal mail should be marked clearly with the contact name, Faculty/Department, room no. and Campus and be placed in the recognised postal bag (black for internal post, pre-paid and non-franked mail) at the agreed post station. This will be collected daily and upon arrival at the Frenchay Mail Room will be sorted and distributed. The Portering staff will deliver internal/external mail as agreed with the specific requirements of each Campus. Royal Mail deliveries to Frenchay Campus twice a day. External Mail/Parcels and PackagesExternal mail should have a clear address and be placed in the recognised postal bag (red for external post - franked only) at the agreed post station for external distribution via external carriers.This will be collected daily and upon arrival at the Frenchay Mail Room will be sorted and distributed. All inward parcels/packages are logged and signed for in the goods inward book by Postal staff at Frenchay for onward internal delivery. Staff are expected to sign for parcels on receipt from the Portering staff. The Royal Mail collects once a day from Frenchay Campus. |
