The success of a big event such as a wedding reception, dinner dance or banquet is largely dependent on the choice of venue. Here at UWE we have a selection of venues available at our various campus sites. With such great choice and a flexible team based on-site we are confident that we will be able to provide a memorable setting for any style of event.

Our experienced team will work closely with you to tailor your upcoming event to your specific requirements. We are able to offer the ideal venue for many events, from formal receptions and dinners, to barbecues in the attractive Felixstowe Court courtyard.

Wedding ceremonies can be held in the chapel on the main Frenchay Campus, whilst the St Matthias Campus offers an idyllic location for a wedding reception. Situated just ten minutes drive from the Frenchay Campus St Matthias boasts beautiful and romantic surroundings for guests to celebrate in the perfect surroundings.

Dinner dances, banquets and receptions

The newly refurbished OneZone on Frenchay Campus provides an excellent venue for private functions, dinner dances and discos. The large dance floor and fully licensed bar facilities are available until 02.00 (Fridays and Saturdays). OneZone also has the added benefit of being adjacent to a full range of professional catering facilities.

Our Hospitality Services staff can also help you organise entertainment for your event if you require it.
