With the recent media attention surrounding the horsemeat scandal, Hospitality Services would like to make the following statement:

It is the policy of the University of the West of England’s Hospitality Services, to use fresh and frozen 100% British Beef and 100% British Organic Beef in all in-house recipes.
This comes with full traceability of the food chain from nominated suppliers. We are working closely with all our suppliers to ensure all due diligence has been met on the assurance of food safety and traceability of any beef products purchased.
