Journal of Organisational & Social DynamicsAn International Journal for the Integration of Psychoanalytic, Systemic and Group Relations Perspectives A journal sponsored by OPUS, An Organisation for the Promotion of Understanding of Society Aims and ScopeThe journal aims to contribute to the development of the Group Relations tradition which has sought to apply psychoanalytic and systemic ideas to the understanding of organisations and society. It welcomes contributions which seek to develop conversations both within this tradition and between it and other related disciplines such as management theory, sociology and political science. The journal invites contributions from academics and practitioners that are relevant to an international readership. It seeks to promote a style of writing which is intellectually rigorous and accessible to practitioners and reflective citizens as well as academics. The journal values reflexive contributions; writers should be able to demonstrate an awareness of the way in which their own personal viewpoints, beliefs and values may be embodied in their work. Contributions should demonstrate an awareness of the contemporary world, as it is now and as it is becoming. Contributors will be aware (for example) of processes of globalisation, the emergence of a networked society and changes in gender, cultural and other identities and relations. At the same time it is possible to be aware that old wisdoms can take on new meanings and values.
