The Learner Language Project (UWELLP)

The aim of the Learner Language Project (UWELLP) is to come to a better understanding of the development of L2 learners’ oral proficiency, with a particular focus on lexical richness, the expression of motion events and the acquisition of nominal gender.

The project is original and innovative in that the data collection is carried out in parallel in four languages, with the same elicitation materials (see 'Data collection and procedures'), in order to allow for cross-linguistic comparisons of the measurement of lexical richness, the expression of motion events and the acquisition of gender.
