Philosophy at UWE
Philosophy is amongst the most rewarding of all subjects to study at university since it equips those who study it with a set of skills that are required for all branches of human intellectual activity – whether campaigning for something to change, presenting or formulating new ideas, making arguments and marshalling thoughts, or assessing the validity of others’ arguments. Beyond these skills, it also explicitly takes the development of the intellect as its aim. A philosophical education therefore stays with you forever.
