We are working closely with the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) and the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP) who are assisting the University on sustainable procurement. Current Progress

White Paper
All white coated and uncoated printing paper as well as photocopier paper are now specified recycled paper.
Light Bulbs
All our light bulbs are being replaced with low energy versions.
Wooden Furniture
Our furniture suppliers source their wooden furniture from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified sources.
Stationery
Where available we procure the environmentally friendly option. Our internal Printing Services use vegetable based inks.
Computers
These are all 4* rated.
Buildings
We are looking to achieve a minimum 10% recycled content of the materials value. new buildings will be at least BREEAM Excellent.
