External Access for Agresso Web Reporting
Introduction
Agresso web reporting is available via a web browser and uses Single Sign On (SSO) for staff members already signed on to their PC/thin client within the UWE domain.
However, it is possible to sign-on and use Agresso web reporting outside of the University campus but access must be via the University's secure network sign-on.
The fist time you use external access you will need to follow the setup process that will automatically download and install the necessary software. It is recommended users of external access use Internet Explorer as other browsers can cause problems.
External Access Sign On
Firstly, you need login to external access using your network username and password and select Staff from the Realm dropdown.

Once successfully signed on you can then select the type of access, please select Staff Thin Desktop.

The first time you use staff thin desktop externally you will need to select the Remote Staff Desktop (embedded) option but once this has been done you will be able to choose the embedded option or full screen.
The next stage you will need to sign-on again using your network user name and password.

You will then be prompted for client file security. Please select Full Access and you can choose whether you wan to be asked again, please select Always ask me or Never ask me again.

Once selected your UWE desktop will be visible. If you have created Agresso Self Service as a shortcut on your desktop then you will be able to select or you can select Internet Explorer and enter the Agresso url (https://agresso.uwe.ac.uk/agresso/Default.aspx) [opens in new window].
Please add the Agresso url to your favourites via remote access if not already there to ease future access.
Select the external access login [opens in new window] to start accessing your Agresso web reports from outside the UWE campus now. Further details and FAQ's are available if you experience any problems.
