Sewage Pumping Station

The existing pumping station at Carol Court was replaced with a new pumping station with an increased storage capacity of six hours. The works comprised the installation of a new underground sewage pumping station and underground storage tanks to provide new emergency storage and associated connecting pipework. The project included the excavation of a car park creating a sub base and installing the tanks. The car park was reinstated with inspection chambers providing access to the tanks.
The works also include a diversion of an existing storm water drain.
