Introduction
Welcome to the Estates Ecological pages. The department has been spending a considerable amount of effort in ensuring that the proposed Master Planning does not, where possible, affect, disturb or compromise any ecological asset that is currently on UWE land. Further to this, as part of UWE's environmental policy, the department is helping to expand the natural ecology of UWE through biodiversity action plans and controlled, environmentally managed, grounds and building work.
To disseminate and raise awareness of UWE's ecology, Estates has produced these web pages and information sources. Further information on surveys and the ecology of UWE will be placed on these pages as and when available.
