Abstract submissions
Abstract submissions for oral presentations, posters, papers, symposiums and workshops are open.
Oral presentations are required to be 15 minutes long, with an additional five minutes for questions.
Symposia must include a maximum of four papers for a 90 minute presentation as well as a nominated discussant.
Please note: All accepted abstracts will be published on the Body Image journal website following the conference in July.
Guidelines
If you are interested in organising a workshop for the conference please contact the Centre for Appearance Research team directly. Please note: some workshops will take place on the afternoon of Monday 2 July.

How to submit
In order to submit you will need to download an Abstract Submission form and return by e-mail to CAR@uwe.ac.uk with the subject heading 'AM5 Abstract Submission' by 1 March 2012. You will be informed of the committee's decision regarding your abstract in April 2012.
Deadlines
1 March 2012 - Deadline for abstract submissions (oral presentations, symposia, posters presentations and workshops)
1 May 2012 - Deadline for late poster submissions
18 June 2012 - Deadline for PowerPoint Presentations (we would be grateful if you could e-mail your PowerPoint to car@uwe.ac.uk. We will then load the presentations onto the system before the conference. Please also bring a back up copy with you).
