Adding interactivity to learning materials
Hot Potatoes
Authoring suite including six different applications. This software enables you to create web pages (html) containing interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence, crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercise.
To install and activate the program you will need to:
- Visit the Hot Potatoes Website to download the program
- Register it by filling all the details in the Hot Potatoes form
Please note that until September 1, 2009, Hot Potatoes is free for use by state-funded educational institutions which are non-profit making (e.g. UWE), or individuals working for them, on the condition that the material you produce using the program is freely available to anyone via the WWW. After this date anyone can use it.
Quandary
This application allows developing activities that will help students develop analytical skills. It is essentially an application to create web-based interactive case studies.
