Audio and podcasting
Podcasting refers to recorded audio clips that are made available for users to listen to online and/or download to their personal players.

Vodcasting refers to making movie and video clips available for users to watch online and/or download to their personal players

How to convert Microsoft Office files (like Word and PowerPoint) into quick and effective web-friendly formats.

- Adobe Presenter - convert your PowerPoint presentations into interactive web media
- Hughes Presenter - similar to Adobe Presenter (no new UWE licences available)

Social Networking and Web 2.0
We have a whole section of the website that looks at Social Networking and Web 2.0. This section also covers:
- Virtual Worlds - users can interact and learn in an online-simulated environment
- Profile Sites - users can share, form groups, target goals in sites (e.g. Facebook)

Virtual Classroom
Real-time virtual classroom environments are designed for distance education and collaboration. Blackboard collaborate can allow instructors to create fully-featured live virtual classrooms.
