The emphasis of our seminars is on the pedagogy underlining e-learning activities, putting forward examples of how different e-learning approaches might suit your needs as a lecturer.

  1. Moving on with e-learning (25/11/05)

    This seminar will take place from 12.00 to 2.00 in room 4D24 (Bolland Library, Frenchay Campus).

    The seminar will focus on the following suggested scenario:

    "I use UWEonline as part of my teaching activities. I have uploaded plenty of materials into different modules. What can I do next? I just feel that all those files are too static, I want to make the online student experience more exciting. How can I do it?"

    This seminar will take place from 12.00 to 2.00 in room 5D6 (Bolland Library, Frenchay Campus).A buffet lunch will be provided during the course of the seminar.

    The last in the series of e-learning seminars for the current academic year will cover the topical issue of Mobile Learning.

    The seminar will showcase different technologies and devices that can be used for Mobile Learning.

    The E-learning Development Team will discuss the pedagogical approaches that might be used to carry out learning activities supported by using mobile learning technologies. Associated logistical issues will also form part of the discusion.
