Open Days
The next general Open Day is 6 February 2010 - register to attend and see the programme of events
Undergraduate Open Days
We strongly advise you to visit all of those universities at which you are interested in studying. This allows you to find out whether you can see yourself enjoying the next three or more years living and studying there as part of the University's community. This is key to a successful and happy university life.
This means not just making sure the course is right for you and that you like your tutors, but also whether the accommodation is up to scratch, that the social and sporting facilities are good, that you like the city and general environment - even down to the price of your favorite drink! All of these things contribute to you being happy and enjoying your life as a student.
The best way to get a sneak preview of what its like as a UWE student is to attend one of our Open Days.
- Saturday 6 February 2010 - register to attend
- Saturday 27 March 2010 - register to attend
Keep an eye on this page as more dates are likely be added. If you are struggling to make any of these dates please contact us.
You will meet with academic staff and current students, find out more about your chosen area of study and visit the laboratories and teaching facilities used by our students. You will also be able to go on a guided tour of our accommodation block and Centre for Sport, take a city tour if you are not familiar with Bristol and speak to specialists about financial and other matters. Please note that city centre tours are only available at UWE Open Days, not at Institute-specific Open Days.
Above is an general programme for the Institute's Open Days, please keep an eye on this page as a more specific programme may be posted nearer to the event.
