Meeting Leaders of Industry
|
| "These events provide superb access to some of the most influential businessmen and women in Britain today." Guest at Stuart Popham’s Event |
Bristol Business School is committed to providing opportunities for our students, alumni, staff and members of the wider regional business community to share in the experience of those heading up major organisations.
The Distinguished Executive Address (DEA) series is one of the highlights of the University calendar and is a unique opportunity to hear about the challenges, issues and decisions being made at the highest level of strategic leadership directly from the leaders of organisations driving UK business performance.
For the first time we will be holding one of our Distinguished Executive Addresses in Bristol city centre. Sir Mike Rake, Chairman of BT Group plc will give his address on 1 June 2010 at the new Future Inn Cabot Circus Hotel conference centre.
The first three events will be held in the intimate setting of the Street Café on Frenchay Campus, which seats up to 100 guests.
“I thought that this was the best DEA speaker that we have had in the last two years” |
Following each address there is an opportunity to put forward your own burning issues and questions to the speakers.
Our last Distinguished Executive Address series included inspirational talks from Graham Love, Chief Executive of QinetiQ Group plc, Bill Grimsey, Chief Executive of Focus (DIY) Ltd and Stuart Popham, Senior Partner at Clifford Chance LLP.
