Bristol Business School

Meeting leaders of industry
The Distinguished Executive Address Series, Autumn 2008

“It was very refreshing to be able to ask questions on a wide range of topics and for a speaker to be so frank with his answers.”
Guest at the Lord Stevenson Address

Bristol Business School is committed to providing opportunities for our students, alumni, staff and members of the wider regional business community to share in the experience of those heading up major organisations.

The Distinguished Executive Address series is one of the real highlights of the university calendar and is a unique opportunity to hear about the challenges, issues and decisions being made at the highest level of strategic leadership directly from the leaders of organisations driving UK business performance.

The events are held in the intimate setting of the Street Café which seats up to 100 guests. Following each address there is an opportunity to put forward your own burning issues and questions to the speakers.

“Great insight into real workings of business.”

Our last Distinguished Executive Address series included inspirational talks from Lord Stevenson, Chairman of HBOS plc, Derek Simpson, General Secretary, Unite Union Amicus Section, Sir John Parker, Chairman, National Grid plc, Richard Lapthorne, Chairman, Cable and Wireless and Miles Templeman, Director General, Institute of Directors.
