The Air Quality Management Resource
Centre is at the forefront of Air
Quality Management research.
The AQMRC team have used their
analyses of the air quality
management process inefficiencies to
generate research questions from
which numerous
research and consultancy contracts
have been awarded by central and
local government, research councils,
the European Union, the Environment
Agency and the private sector.
Equally important is the extensive
peer reviewed literature produced by
the team including 4 edited books,
21 refereed journal papers and more
than 50 refereed book chapters and
conference proceedings. The research
expertise of the AQMRC team is also
evidenced by the chairing of
international conferences (e.g.
Air
Pollution 2006), major contributions
(including special sessions) at the
World Clean Air Congress (2004 and
2007 forthcoming), accepted
invitations to speak at Better Air
Quality, Asia conferences (organised
by the Asian Development Bank’s
Clean Air Initiative for Asian
Cities) and
through high level engagements with
the International Union of Air
Pollution Control Associations.
