Air Quality Management Resource Centre has worked
with a wide range of international partners and
seeks to both help build capacity in Air Quality
Management across the globe and to help bring
valuable lessons from other countries back to Europe
to help strengthen our existing Air Quality
Management and Climate Change policies and practice.

included work in the mega cities of Beijing advising
on the air quality management implications of the
2008 Olympics (another article featured
here),
Sao Paulo (with USP and IUAPPA) and Mexico
City (with MIT and IUAPPA).
Jim Longhurst was
co-conference chair of annual international
Air Pollution Conference in 2000 (Cambridge, UK)
2006 (New Forest, UK) and will co-chair the
2008 meeting (Skiathos). In both cases he
has/will edit the conference book published by WIT.
