The Air Quality Management
Resource Centre provides a comprehensive service to air quality
professionals. Specific areas of expertise
include;
Review and
Assessment, air quality assessment, dispersion
modelling, air quality management consultation,
interpretation of modelling and monitoring data,
advice on source apportionment and
proportionality issues, scoping of air quality
action plans and the development of
supplementary planning guidance, and integration
of air quality and climate change.
The
AQMRC are available to subcontract for research
or consultancy collaborations. Please

The AQMRC is widely
recognised by air quality practitioners as a focal
point for air quality management information and
advice. The AQMRC has established air quality
networks with other organisations i.e.
consultancies, academics, and local governments
nationally and internationally. These networks have
been utilised to successfully win
reputable
grants from the
EU,
Research Councils,
UK
central government,
the
Environment Agency, and
non-UK central government and a vast array of
local authorities’ projects.
The AQMRC is
committed to supporting the development of air
quality management capacity and capability, and has
provided training sessions through workshops,
seminars, and conferences in all facets of air
quality management i.e. from introductory sessions
on LAQM to highly advanced scientific aspects of the
LAQM process. We also host an annual joint conference
with the South West Environmental Protection UK (formerly
NSCA) covering a wide
range of environmental issues from air pollution to
