Carbon Management
AQMRC Home

While climate change is a global concern, it is at a local level where many of the mitigation and adaptation methods may be implemented. This makes integration of climate change into local environmental management policy a highly desirable objective.  Air Quality Management Resource Centre staff have years of experience in providing guidance and support to local authorities regarding carbon management and air quality, and we understand the issues and problems associated with finding the best outcomes - the 'win-win' benefits of the co-management of carbon dioxide and local air quality pollutants.

AQMRC Provide Guidance and Support Services for:

  • Integration of air quality and carbon management in local authorities

  • Carbon Management Strategies for a range of enterprises

  • Advice and information services

  • Internal and external communication and consultation strategies on carbon management

  • Local emission inventories - top down and bottom up methodologies

  • Training and staff development

  • Policy guidance

  • Scenario generation

  • Forecasting

  • Carbon Justice

Please contact us to discuss your carbon management needs.

The AQMRC experience in carbon management is underpinned by a range of peer reviewed publications by AQMRC staff on a range of carbon management issues.
