UWE launches Better Together Fund

Is there a charitable cause you’re passionate about? Need funding to get a community project or idea off the ground? UWE’s new Better Together Fund could help.

The Better Together Fund a new charitable initiative launched to offer alumni, staff and friends the opportunity to support local or international community projects, student hardship bursaries, and UWE’s sporting and extra-curricular student activities.

Supported entirely by charitable donations, applications are now open for Community and Student Experience Grants.

Community Grants of up to £3000 are awarded to support local charitable causes and international development projects which will make a positive impact on the lives of the people in our region and around the world.

Student Experience Grants of up to £250 are availableto support both academic projects and extra-curricular activities around the University. These grants are here to help our students to get the most out of their time at UWE and reach their full potential.

Thanks to donations to the University in 2010, the Better Together Fund was able to award over £30,000 in Community Grants to 11 exciting local and international charitable causes, enriching lives in Bristol and around the world.
