Trio of Brit Award Nominations for UWE Graduate
UWE graduate Ted Dwane - of folk-rock foursome Mumford and Sons - is celebrating today after receiving a fantastic three nominations for this year’s Brit Awards.
The band, which formed in 2007, have been nominated for British Breakthrough Act, British Group and the Mastercard Album of the Year for their album ‘Sigh No More’. December also saw them receive Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rock Song for their single ‘Little Lion Man’.
Ted graduated from UWE in 2005 with a BSc(Hons) Psychology and Linguistics. He still remains fond of Bristol, calling it ‘a glorious place’ in a recent interview with Venue Magazine.
