The accommodation is situated within the grounds of St Matthias Campus which is close to Fishponds, a busy shopping area with banks, a launderette and other local shops. The accommodation comprises 14 self-contained flats all with en-suite bedrooms. Bishop Monk is a four storey building with 44 bed spaces. Elsa Nunn is on 3 floors with 32 bed spaces. Each flat has 6 study bedrooms with ensuite facilities and kitchen/dining room. The ground floor of both buildings has been fully adapted to provide study bedrooms for students with disabilities. The bus stops are situated on the main road near the Campus, with regular services to and from Fishponds (the nearest shopping area) and the city centre.
- each en-suite study bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe, desk and chair, bookshelves, bedside cabinet and mirror, shower, wash hand basin and toilet. The rooms are fully furnished with carpets and curtains
- kitchen is equipped with a cooker (with grill facility), microwave, fridge/freezer, waste bin, storage cupboards and working surfaces
- dining area is equipped with a dining table and chairs
- heating is provided by wall-mounted electric convection heaters with thermostatic and timer controls
- TV aerial sockets in every bedroom and dining area (TV licensing information)
- telephone point in each flat - it is the decision of the flat residents if they wish to have this service connected, to obtain a handset and to arrange payment of bills directly with the service provider
- car parking is limited on Campus. Cars are left entirely at the owners' risk
