Frenchay Campus, the main University Campus, was purpose-built in 1975 and lies about four miles north of Bristol city centre. It is linked to the city by a regular bus service as well as the nearby Bristol Parkway train station.
The administrative centre of UWE is located on Frenchay Campus including the Student Services department , Accommodation Services, the Students' Union, the main Library, IT Services and the Language Centre.
Facilities on the Campus include numerous food and drink outlets, a supermarket, a launderette, a bookshop, a travel shop and a branch of the NatWest Bank. Recent developments include the multi-million pound Student Village and Centre for Sport as well as new cinema facilities.
UWE's Research, Business and Innovation (RBI) centre is located across the road from the main Campus in Wallscourt House.
