Working in partnership with our global network enables UWE to ensure that our world class research has a direct impact on people's lives.
UWE is now one of the fastest-growing research institutions in the country with over a third of our research considered to be world-leading or internationally excellent. We have been awarded an increase in research funding of 122 per cent this year, which will increase our ability to work on projects with real value and impact.
From research into the antibacterial properties of wild Himalayan Oregano as a cure for MRSA to investigating the behaviour of large groups (or swarms) of robots, UWE's research is helping to create a brighter future for both UWE and the global community.
